It seems to happen every year and this week is no different...the top two ranked kids at a weight class meet in the very first round. We have that twice on Wednesday, with No. 1 John Meeks and No. 2 Nick Sand battling at 119 in 3A and No. 1 Jake Demmon and No. 2 Cole Welter facing off at 125 in 1A, in a battle between previous State champs.
